Herman came to First Baptist Bremen in November of 1992 bringing his wife Fay and their three sons. Herman has been a pastor for over 50 years. He is active in the Georgia Baptist Convention, serving as both member and officer of various committees, the local ministerial association and is chaplain of the Bremen High School football team. Herman and Fay are the proud grandparents of five grandchildren.
Andy came to Bremen in June of 2005 having served churches in both Georgia and Texas. He graduated from Berry College with a degree in Industrial Technology and worked nearly 10 years in the industrial world while serving churches bi-vocationally. Upon surrendering to full-time ministry he left for Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary where he completed a Master of Music degree. He has traveled as a member of the Georgia Baptist Sons of Jubal since 1994, singing across Russia, Europe and Asia as well as in countless churches in Georgia. His wife, Fran, is an active part of the music ministry serving as Coordinator of Children’s Music Ministries. They have two sons and a daughter.
Kristi Solberg is the Weekday Preschool Director and Preschool Director for First Baptist Church of Bremen. Kristi has an Early Childhood Degree from the University of West Georgia. She also has a Masters in Educational Leadership. She is certified in multiple preschool curriculums. Kristi has taught both in public and private schools. Kristi also serves as Preschool Sunday School Director. She volunteers her time with extended care nursery, VBS, and summer children's programs.
Lucinda Gibson is the director of children's ministries. Lucinda graduated from Tennessee Technological University with a degree in secondary education. Lucinda has worked in many different areas of children's ministries including VBS, Girls in Action, and TeamKid. Lucinda and her husband Jeff are the proud parents of three daughters.
Luke joined the staff of FBCB in March of 2018. Previously, Luke spent fourteen years as the director of an outdoor adventure ministry. Before that he was a youth pastor and an associate pastor. He attended Southeastern Bible College for his bachelors, and Covington Theological Seminary for his Masters in Counseling and a Doctorate in Theology. His wife, Naomi, teaches piano, and plays an active role in children’s ministry. They have five children: two sons and three daughters.
